Bruce brings more than 20 years in production control and materials planning at Lockheed Martin, Honeywell Aerospace, and Collins Aerospace.
He applies aerospace discipline to financial operations: traceability, accountability, and human oversight.
In aerospace, work moves forward only with traceability, accountability, process discipline, and human oversight. Every step is validated, reviewed, and approved.
When Bruce and Susan opened a bookkeeping firm, he saw that accounting rarely works this way. Systems record what happened, but they do not guide how the work gets done.
That is why he chose to build Syncrea, an AI-powered operating system designed to bring that same discipline to accounting firms. He built the Syncrea MVP in under 3 months, with no prior coding experience, to validate the model before production code.
Bruce leads product vision, platform strategy, and fundraising.
Susan McDonough
Co-Founder & COO
Susan brings 20 years of experience in operations, sales, and marketing leadership, including as Marketing Director in assisted living.
She has experience managing complex processes where breakdowns have real-world consequences.
She knows what it takes to run teams, keep clients informed, and deliver consistent service when the work is complex and the people doing it change.
While building the bookkeeping firm with Bruce, Susan experienced the same operational challenges firsthand: knowledge that lives in people's heads, work that is hard to see, and quality that depends on who handles it.
Her background keeps Syncrea grounded in how accounting firms actually operate day to day. Susan leads operations, design partner development, and early customer validation.
